Getting Here and Things To Do
Located just southwest of Portland, Sherwood sits conveniently nearby to Portland International Airport (25 miles) and all major freeways to accommodate those traveling from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, Nevada, Arizona, and British Columbia.
Sherwood High School is conveniently located less than 1 mile from a Hampton Inn that opened for business in late 2019. Additionally, more hotel choices are available in Tualatin, Beaverton, Newberg, and Tigard, easily within a 20 minute drive to the fields.
While we are not a stay to play tournament, we’ve partnered with HBC to offer great rates on many nearby hotels.
Sherwood is home to over two dozen restaurants and brewpubs, both those nationally known and those local, family-owned places we all love so much. In Old Town Sherwood is a great place to look for outdoor seating at multiple restaurants.
Same as with lodging, dozens of additional restaurant choices exist in the neighboring communities within a short drive, including something for everyone at Langer’s Entertainment Center.
Sherwood is centrally located to several options to get out and explore while you’re here! We’re the gateway to wine country, with dozens of wineries less than 15 miles away.
Roughly an hour from both the Oregon Coast and Columbia River Gorge, hiking and biking trails are too numerous to count!
If the high desert is more your speed, Central Oregon/Bend is roughly 3 hours SE of Sherwood. This area is famous for miles and miles of hiking and biking trails, rafting/floating trips, and great places nearby to rock climb.
